Education
The more knowledge our customers and your employees have, the greater opportunity you have to utilize your investment, machinery, and equipment to its full potential. Learn more about the educations we offer below.
Ravema Education Program
Ravemas Education Program is tailored after the needs of the customer and the needs of the individual student, which makes Ravema unique.
Does your company have new operators or do you want further training?
The requirements for both machines and operators are high in todays highly technical industries. That’s why Ravema made sure to stay at the forefront and help you as a client with training and support.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Ravema Education can also offer training in form and positional tolerance with external trainers/lecturers who have extensive experience in reading engineering drawings, tolerances, and more.
The form and positional tolerance training at Ravema Education Center is conducted over two days, where we thoroughly cover form and positional tolerances according to Swedish standards, as well as important areas within engineering drawing interpretation.
Course material is included, including a handbook with approximately 200 pages containing theoretical content and more.
Examples of what the course covers:
- How coordinate and reference systems are structured and practically applied.
- ISO tolerances and fits.
- Outcomes/SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Goals: After completing the training, participants should be able to read and interpret requirements according to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
3D assist
If you have a Mazak machine with Smooth G or Smooth X/AI, you have the opportunity to use 3D assist.
With 3D-assist, there is the possibility to create machining programs directly from solid models. It is a program in Mazatrol that helps you reduce programming times through various functions.
We offer a 3D assist training at Ravema where we go through various scenarios with solids and at the same time demonstrate additional capabilities in the module and provide some tips in Mazatrol.
To attend this training, operators should have completed a Basic Mazatrol course or have similar work experience with Mazatrol.
Customized training
If you have complex machining requirements for your components, we can provide a customized corporate training that specifically addresses the challenges you face in the machining process. We tailor the program to ensure that you can make the most of your solution and overcome your specific challenges effectively.
Customized metrology education
We can offer basic measurement and machine learning courses, either using an actual machine or through simulators/programs.
There are also opportunities for you as a customer to influence the training and, together with our experienced technicians, determine a training level that suits your business needs.
Customized Mazak education
Customized Mazak training can provide many benefits for you as a customer. Ravema has product specialists in both turning and milling with extensive experience in production. With their expertise in Mazatrol, we can offer in-depth training at your location.
After your operators have completed the Mazatrol Basic Course at Ravema, we can offer more advanced training at your location as a customer. On-site, we can work with your specific Mazak machine and cover various topics such as:
- Transfer of details to the second spindle
- B-axis operations – Integrex
- Table rotations HCN/VRX
- Thread milling, IPM milling, dynamic milling, or other advanced machining techniques.
Everything is aimed at enabling you as a customer to maximize the performance of Mazak and increase profitability for both your company and the training of your personnel. The course is suitable for operators who have completed the Ravema basic course or have experience with Mazatrol.
